Verbero and the hockey community are uniting to assist seven-year-old inspiration Hannah, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma in June of 2020.
An avid hockey lover, Hannah would wake up to major pain in her back after days of enjoying her favorite activities, such as playing hockey, soccer, running, singing and dancing. Hannah has undergone a year of radiation and chemotherapy and just recently started a new chemotherapy regime. Thankfully, Hannah has remained active through this process and has dealt with the side effects well.
“We are reaching out to all our friends, partners and affiliates to see if we can raise $10,000 for the sweetest little girl, Hannah and her family,” Verbero Owner, CEO and former National Hockey League defenseman Andy Sutton, who launched the campaign, said.
“Hannah is a brilliant spirit, a warrior and an example we should all embody. She has been smiling all the way through the tremendous ordeal she and her family have gone through on top of all the craziness in the world right now.”
